Nearly Half of the Population Suffers from Headaches
Nearly half of the population suffers from some type of headaches. Oftentimes stemming from dysfunction in the cervical spine and often overlooked.
Treatment combinations that include manual therapy produced the largest reductions in headache intensity, headache frequency, and headache-related disability.
Some of These Treatments Include:
1. Spinal Manipulation for Cervicogenic Headaches
2. SNAG Exercises:
- Setup: Sit up straight and place a towel or strap behind your neck.
- Hold: Cross your hands, holding opposite ends of the towel.
- Glide: If turning to the right, use the right hand to pull the towel forward and slightly up towards your eye/cheekbone.
- Move: Turn your head to the right while maintaining the pressure with the towel.
- Release: Return to the starting position
3. Acupuncture and Traction
These are a few ways to help with Cervicogenic Headaches along with regular chiropractic care to keep your body at optimal health.
